Leslie (Whitten) Baughman, LMFT Lic#41380

Leslie Baughman is a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (Lic.# 41380) who has been counseling children, teens and adults since 1996.  Since becoming certified in PCIT in 2000, Leslie has gone on to coach over 1,000 families in PCIT, train and supervise PCIT therapists, provide consultation to PCIT agencies state-wide, co-authored PCIT training manuals and materials, authored a chapter on PCIT in a clinical textbook, and was featured in the web based training for PCIT therapists.

Leslie is considered an expert in this Evidence-Based Treatment and continues to provide ongoing consultation to PCIT therapists in private practice as well as agency settings.  Additionally, Leslie routinely presents on parenting issues and PCIT for community groups and professional organizations.

Leslie is also skilled in providing individual, couples and family therapy to all ages.  Leslie's clinical emphasis is on the use of Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to assist individuals in making changes in their lives.  Depending on the specific needs and abilities of each client, a variety of other treatment modalities may be incorporated as needed.  Additionally, Leslie has completed Levels I, II, and III Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and uses these evidence based interventions in her work with couples.
