Business Description
Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) is offered as one of several evidence-based treatments available through the Outpatient Program in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). Alison Zisser, Ph.D. is an outpatient child psychologist at CHOP and is a certified PCIT therapist and Level I (in house) trainer. PCIT treatment is available for young children with externalizing behavior problems following an intake evaluation. If following an intake evaluation, it is felt that PCIT is not an appropriate treatment, the family will be referred for the appropriate services within CHOP or in the community.
